Panama Chenille – a woven fabric with depth and eye-catching lustre.
Panama Chenille is a basketweave chenille fabric with a twist. The use of multiple tones accentuate the woven pattern in the fabric giving it a rich appearance. Similar in appearance and texture to our Basketweave Chenille fabric. The thick pile of Panama has an eye-catching lustre effect. This is a heavy weight fabric that comes coated to general domestic FR BS5852 as standard. The Chenille fabric is robust and has a Martindale rub-test of over 30,000.
The collection has a comprehensive range of colours from the traditional greys, beiges and a soft brown. In contrast there is a striking Rustic (burnt orange) and Medallion (gold). Along with popular soothing shades of Silver, Blush and Cream. The fabric is also a popular choice for headboards and divan bases.
