From humble beginnings on the market stall of Oldham to sourcing textiles on a global scale, Ambassador Textiles has grown over the past 50 years into one of the UK’s leading fabric wholesalers.
Our Story
Today, our fabrics are trusted by home furnishings brands, interior design companies, curtain makers, upholsterers and event companies. We have built a diverse customer portfolio that reflects the breadth and quality of our range and pride ourselves on our commitment to our customers, from wholesale to retail, large and small.
Consistency, quality, affordability and sustainability are the principles that underpin everything we do. Our fabrics are made to last and sourced exclusively from ethical mills, with our Shetland wool plaid fabrics sourced form a nearby mill just over the Yorkshire border.
We are constantly sourcing new ranges of recycled fabric as demand increases for eco-friendly products. Similarly, our team continually assess and evolve our stock to keep up with developments in the fast-growing digital print fabric market. Alongside this we are working towards being paperless as well as ensuring sustainable practice.
Our new premises have been specifically designed to maximise efficiency and manage stock which enable us to offer fast lead times and efficient fulfilment. Our experienced team of well-trained staff will advise and process your orders quickly and efficiently.
