About Us

Ambassador Textiles was established in 1971 as a textiles supplier to the fashion trade.  Initially an integrated company with market stalls and supply connections throughout the North West, developing into a merchant and wholesaler to the manufactruing trade.

As the business nature of textiles changed, Ambassador has developed with the growing demand of niche market customers.  Due to the popularity of faux fur and imitation suede in both fashion and furnishing, fabrics in varying designs are imported from Europe and the Far East which we wholesale from our warehouse.

To cater for the niche markets Ambassador has developed a manufaturing arm in the UK.  This enables shorter lead times and a more flexible response in meeting our customer's needs.

In response to consumer demands for a more designer led market, our soft furnishings are promoted under the 'Katrina Hampton' label, which comprises of an exclusive range of Luxury Faux Fur and Imitation Suede Throws, Cushions and Beanbags in addition our Designer Range of 100% Wool and Cotton & Jute collection.
